At the heart of our operations is our warehouse, showroom, and workshop, nestled in the tranquil countryside of Ansty, Haywards Heath, where our talented Fabrication Team transforms raw materials into bespoke creations. Do you have experience working with production machinery or hand tools?

Are you passionate about precision, craftsmanship, and working with premium materials? If so, we want to hear from you!

We are seeking a CNC Machine Operator to join our talented Production Team.

As part of this role, you will cut, shape, and polish stone slabs to create stunning kitchen worktops, vanity tops, feature walls, dining tables etc.

Whether you’re an experienced CNC Operator or have hands-on experience in a similar engineering environment,

we’ll provide full training to help you excel in this exciting role!

  • Ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality machine operation.

The Role

As a Kitchen Worktop Templater & Fitter, you’ll play a vital role in delivering stunning, high-quality worktops and vanity tops for our customers.

From taking templates to the final installation, you’ll ensure every detail meets our exceptional standards.

Working with both domestic and commercial clients, you’ll be part of projects that make a lasting impact.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Visit customer premises to create precise templates for kitchen worktops and vanity tops.
  • Install worktops to the highest standards, ensuring a perfect fit every time.
  • Manage customer interactions, arranging installations and ensuring a positive experience.
  • Address and resolve any remedial work promptly to maintain customer satisfaction.
  • Work collaboratively with our production and customer service teams to meet project timelines and uphold quality.

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking a motivated, reliable individual with a keen eye for detail and the ability to deliver top-quality results.

Essential Qualifications & Skills:

  • Proven experience as a Worktop Templater and Fitter.
  • Experience fitting kitchen worktops.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
  • A proactive, can-do attitude with a commitment to customer satisfaction.
  • Strong ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Bonus Skills:

  • Knowledge of fabrication and welding techniques.
  • Background in carpentry, painting, plastering, or electrical systems.
  • Familiarity with a range of tools and materials.

  • Attention to Detail: Ensure all cuts align with detailed plans, layouts, and project requirements.
  • Book Matching Expertise: Create stunning book-matched designs by carefully aligning veining and patterns, turning stone into seamless visual masterpieces.
  • Quality Assurance: Inspect materials for defects and ensure each piece meets our exceptional standards.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with our Design, Fabrication, and Install Teams to bring ambitious concepts to reality.
  • Safety & Maintenance: Adhere to safety protocols and perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
